New Generation Ford Ranger CAR Officially Launched

The front view of this car resembles the Ford Maverick which is the older brother of the Ford Ranger. Then what is interesting is the use of matrix-shaped headlights with LED C-Clamps which are quite unique. As well as a grille with a center bar and taillights that bend to follow the headlights, giving the impression of being dashing, tough, but quite futuristic.

And the body profile of this car, the latest generation Ford Ranger is much more boxy than the previous generation. There is nothing wrong with the boxy design that characterizes a dashing car. Indeed, this car is also intended for use in heavy terrain such as offroad or mining roads for example.

Talking about the engine, Ford provides several engine options, both gasoline and diesel engines that are adapted to carry loads and use extreme roads. For the diesel engine itself, the Ford Ranger is available in 3 engine options, namely 3,000 cc, V6 turbo, and 2 choices of 2,000 cc 4 cylinder engines, each of which has a choice of single turbo or twin turbo.

For gasoline engine options, Ford also presents this Ranger in a 2262 cc engine configuration, 4 cylinder turbo with EcoBoost technology. This petrol version produces power up to 270 hp with torque reaching 420 Nm. Ford Ranger petrol engine variants also exist in the previous generation.

This car certainly gets some advanced features, although this car is for durability but still pays attention to today's technology. For example, such as a digital instrument cluster screen with a 10.1-inch touch screen or a 12-inch size option. This instrument cluster is included in the Ford SYNC4 system.

Not to forget, this car already has an electronic parking brake complete with auto hold. It is planned that this latest generation of Ford will be assembled in Thailand and South Africa starting in 2022. It is not yet clear whether the latest generation of Ford Ranger will enter Indonesia or not. Considering that the Ford Ranger currently sold in Indonesia by the RMA Group is a Thai assembly.
